Role Overview:
As a SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students with a variety of special educational needs, providing personalized support in both individual and group settings. You’ll collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to create a positive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures each student's academic, social, and emotional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and tailored lessons that address the needs of students with SEN
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles and requirements
  • Create and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, the SENCO, and other team members to monitor and support student progress
  • Track and assess student progress, offering feedback to parents and colleagues
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere

Who We’re Looking For:

  • A teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), with experience in SEN or a willingness to develop your expertise
  • A strong understanding of special educational needs and differentiation techniques
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience in working with students
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with students and their families
