Location: Various sites across Oxfordshire

Hours: Full-time/Part-time available

We are seeking a Band 7 Locum Speech and Language Therapy Specialist Team Lead to manage and develop the children’s therapy service across Oxfordshire. This role involves conducting specialised assessments and interventions for children with a variety of needs, including complex disabilities, in settings such as schools, homes, and clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the team, ensuring high-quality therapy services.
  • Provide specialised assessments and develop tailored treatment plans for children.
  • Work closely with families, schools, and healthcare partners to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to SEND processes and support national and local clinical guidelines.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration/Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Post-graduate experience working with children and young

    people

  • Experience of working within the community including working in schools and other education settings
