The Redline group have an exciting new opportunity to work with an excellent company, to lead the development of an extensive portfolio of electro-mechanical products, used within a wide range of market sectors, including Industrial and Rail.

My client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Field Sales Engineer, who will work a hybrid sales role, managing existing customers, and developing and winning in new business.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent sales skills, and field sales experience, covering the UK. This will be a remote/field based role, with fortnightly visits to the Buckinghamshire office. National and some international travel is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities for this Field Sales Engineer:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities.

- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and market trends within the aerospace and defence sectors.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, helping them select the right electromechanical solutions to meet their needs.

- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

The skills/experience required for this Field Sales Engineer:

- Technical qualifications within engineering is ideal

- Proven experience in business development and field sales with electromechanical products

- Experience in providing advisory support to customers in developing tailored solutions.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Technical background with experience in selling technical products or a commercial background with experience in selling complex technical products and services
