Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover and cultivate new business opportunities within the freight and logistics industry.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to expand client portfolio.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sales pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine our sales strategies.
  • Achieve and surpass sales targets and revenue growth goals established by the company.
  • Provide insightful reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and client feedback to management.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote our brand and services.

Candidate attributes

  • Strong knowledge of freight operations, including international shipping, transportation modes, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and participate in industry events.
