Red Recruitment Group urgently require anexperienced van driver / warehouse operativefor a temporary to permanent position in the Aylesford area.
The position is working for a very busy automotive distribution company that are seeking to add to its permanent workforce due to business growth.
The main requirements of the roles are:
Delivery driving using a Mercedes Long Wheel based 3.5T Van
Full UK Drivers licence - ideally clean with no previous convictions, and over the age of 25 for insurance purposes.
Quality inspection
Manual handling
Following specific product identification codes
Recording of QC data
Any other general warehouse and delivery driver related duties as required
Hours of work are Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:30
Plus every other Saturday 08:00 - 13:00
Flexibility to cover night shift driver holidays on occasion is essential.
£11.44per hour - Average 45 hour working week = £26'769 per year
Plus overtime when permanent paid at time and a quarter.
OTE £30,000+ per year with overtime
Weekly paid for temporary to permanent period, then monthly paid when permanently employed with the company.
