Contracts Manager Required

  • The ideal candidate will need to have experience within Engineering, a Managerial background etc.
  • The company are looking for someone who is willing, professional, punctual and passionate. Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a Projects Contracts Manager.

    The main purpose of this role is to be proactive and methodical with excellent knowledge of most recent BS7671 Wiring Regulations. Have experience of being a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor or be sufficiently knowledgeable to pass a Qualifying Supervisor assessment.

    In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £60K, depending on experience + £4,500 car allowance.

    Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop good commercial relationships with new clients and additional contracts
  • Ensure the achievement of agreed commercial contract targets and project programme delivery
  • Manage electrical installation and maintenance works ensuring timely and effective delivery
  • Directly manage subcontracted works ensuring that all client KPIs are achieved, and all works are performed to the highest standards
  • Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays
  • Manage procurement and reconciliation of materials to ensure best value and to prevent delays
  • Ensure site team compliance with Company policies and procedures
  • Manage all works as per the Company’s ISO9001:2015 Quality Management System
  • Take line management responsibility for a team of engineers and trainees

    The ideal candidate:

  • A minimum of 5-years’ experience as an Approved Electrician
  • Minimum of 3-years’ experience in a supervisory or management role
  • JIB Approved Electrician – ECS Gold card (essential) and Black card (desirable)
  • NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor status or willingness to achieve
  • CITB SMSTS/SSSTS
  • C&G 2391
