Contracts Manager - Water Treatment

Randstad are looking for a Contracts Manager with water treatment experience!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established specialist subcontractor, managing multiple contracts for major water companies such as Southern Water and Thames Water.

With over 30 years of expertise, my client delivers high-quality services across the water sector. This role offers a blend of office-based, site, and remote working, with a company car or car allowance included.

The Role

You will oversee a specialist services workstream, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to a high standard.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Managing supervisors, site teams, and office staff to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Acting as the main client liaison, ensuring strong relationships and smooth project delivery.
  • Conducting site surveys and fact-finding to support the preparation of quotations and tenders.
  • Overseeing procurement, commercial decision-making, and project profitability.
  • Managing subcontractors and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Supporting the development of site and office teams, fostering growth and progression.
  • Ensuring accurate documentation and reporting for client presentations.
  • Assisting with CAD drawings and specifications when required.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience in contract management within the water industry.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams across multiple projects.
  • A solid understanding of procurement, commercial management, and client relations.
  • Qualifications including CSCS Card (preferred), IOSH Managing Safely/SMSTS, and industry-related NVQ.
  • Experience with CAD is beneficial but not essential.
