With a strong focus on manufacturing excellence and delivering bespoke solutions, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and success.Position OverviewAs a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality items. Working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, you will carry out a range of production tasks under the guidance of your Supervisor or Chargehand, contributing to the company's commitment to meeting quality standards and output targets.ResponsibilitiesPerform day-to-day production tasks as directed, including operating machinery, assembly, and final assemblyRead and understand work instructions to ensure output complies with specificationsAdhere to internal manufacturing procedures and meet quality and output targetsAssist with housekeeping and maintain a clean and organised work areaDemonstrate flexibility in performing various duties within the department and across production areasFollow Health & Safety and company rules to maintain a safe working environmentSupport colleagues in your department and other areas of production as neededCarry out any other general factory tasks as requiredRequirementsPrevious experience in sheet metal manufacturing or a busy production environment (desirable)Physically fit and able to handle heavy itemsStrong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when requiredCalm and focused approach with excellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to prioritise and manage changing workloads effectivelyFlexible and positive attitude, particularly during peak seasons and increased volumesBenefitsCompetitive starting salary of £11.96 per hourRegular working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30 with paid breaksOpportunities for career progression within a growing companyJoin a team that values manufacturing excellence, compliance, innovation, and outstanding customer service.
