HR Manager
Office Based – Full Time

Pearson Whiffin are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Manager on behalf of our client based in Mid Kent. We are looking for a patient and confident individual with strong HR function experience who has handled a variety of complex ER cases and is passionate about building a positive and people-focused workplace culture.
Duties:
- Manage a range of employee relations (ER) cases, providing sound advice and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
- Collaborate with leadership to shape and nurture a positive, inclusive workplace culture
- Provide HR guidance across the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding
- Analyse HR data and systems to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice
- Lead on the implementation and optimisation of HRIS and other HR systems, ensuring seamless integration and user adoption
- Coordinate and manage all responsibilities across recruitment, HR administration, and advisory functions, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and consistent support to both employees and managers
- Act as a calm and approachable presence within the business, supporting managers and employees with confidence and empathy
- Manage and support the HR team, providing clear direction, coaching, and fostering a collaborative working environment
The successful candidate will have:
- A calm, composed approach with the ability to build trust and credibility at all levels
- Proven experience working with HRIS platforms and leading or supporting system implementations
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience managing a range of employee relations (ER) cases
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- A genuine passion for fostering a positive, engaging, and inclusive workplace culture
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and support stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
- CIPD qualification (or working towards it) would be an advantage
