- A degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Production Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Experience or knowledge of ERP/MRP systems for production planning and inventory management
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, machining, and fabrication techniques
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- A proactive approach with a keen interest in process improvement and lean manufacturing
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Good communication skills and attention to detail
- Awareness of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment
- Assisting in the implementation and optimization of ERP/MRP systems for production planning
- Supporting the engineering team in improving manufacturing processes and workflows
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation and manufacturing instructions
- Identifying areas for cost reduction, waste minimization, and efficiency improvements
- Assisting with new product introduction into the production process
- Collaborating with production teams to troubleshoot and resolve engineering issues
- Ensuring compliance with industry and company quality standards
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing projects
