Job Advertisement: Forklift/Yard Operative – Temp to Perm
Location: Aylesford
Are you looking for a rewarding and dynamic role in a fast-paced environment? We are currently seeking a Forklift/Yard Operative to join our team on a temp to perm basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Forklift Operation (40% of the role): Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials within the yard.
- Sorting & Organizing Products (60% of the role): Sort products into the correct containers and ensure they are moved onto/off the lorry or around the yard as needed.
Working Hours:
- Two Rotating Shifts:
- Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Shift 2: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Monday to Friday: Full-time, stable schedule.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in forklift operation preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving containers.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
