Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:
- Develop and implement manufacturing processes for automotive components, emphasising efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
- Work across all areas on the Singer UK team as well as within your own functional team to deliver all program aspects from inception to production.
- Scope, specify and deliver the best operational practices in alignment with brand expectations.
- Schieve all project milestones and support in the delivery of all program objectives.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines for the restoration process.
- Analyse and enhance existing production processes for cost reduction and increased productivity.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of materials and parts.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to implement checks and inspections at various production stages.
- Provide content support for prototype build phases on new vehicle programs including support to Virtual Build and Manpower Planning activities.
