The Opportunity:

Due to continuous growth, they are expanding their team and seeking a Manufacturing Engineer. As a key player, you will contribute to the development of manufacturing processes, revolutionising the way they build their vehicles within a low-volume environment. Be at the forefront of new model launches and engineering changes, offering crucial support in enhancing Project Management, Safety, Quality, Cost Management, and Product Delivery.

  • Line Balancing
  • BOM Management
  • Assembly sequencing, Process & Procedure Documentation, and Product Traceability methodology
  • MES System – Vehicle Build & Control

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for automotive components, emphasising efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Work across all areas on the Singer UK team as well as within your own functional team to deliver all program aspects from inception to production.
  • Scope, specify and deliver the best operational practices in alignment with brand expectations.
  • Schieve all project milestones and support in the delivery of all program objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans and timelines for the restoration process.
  • Analyse and enhance existing production processes for cost reduction and increased productivity.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely procurement of materials and parts.
  • Collaborate with quality control teams to implement checks and inspections at various production stages.
  • Provide content support for prototype build phases on new vehicle programs including support to Virtual Build and Manpower Planning activities.
