Primary Purpose of the Role
To manage production effectively, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards, operational efficiency, and alignment with organizational goals. This position requires achieving production targets while promoting a safe, well-maintained, and efficient environment to deliver high-quality products to customers.

Key Areas of Responsibility and Standards of Performance

  • Oversee the safety culture at the site to prevent any deviations that could affect product safety, quality, and legality.
  • Lead and motivate production teams for optimal performance.
  • Manage daily operations, including maintenance and repairs, ensuring all facilities and assets are maintained to required standards and within budget.
  • Monitor and manage service contract performance, ensuring delivery meets agreed-upon service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and building regulations, and manage activities to meet safety, program, cost, and quality objectives.
  • Facilitate and lead the development and implementation of capital and revenue projects for site improvements and modernization, aligning with business needs.
  • Coordinate planned preventive maintenance with relevant internal or external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including health and safety, building regulations, fire safety, electrical fixed wiring, and environmental standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
