Our client, a leader in their sector, seek to recruit an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to lead their team of coordinators and engineers. This is a pivotal role within the organisation, responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of maintenance activities, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead a team of coordinators who are responsible for scheduling, planning, and raising purchase orders for both planned and reactive maintenance work.
  • Ensure efficient allocation of resources, including engineers working 24/7, to meet client demands and operational targets.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering team to resolve technical issues and ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Monitor and improve operational processes.
  • Work closely with the Technical team and General Manager to identify areas for improvement within the team.
  • Develop a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • A proven track record in operations management, preferably within an industrial service and maintenance environment.
  • A strong mechanical engineering background.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using planning and scheduling tools, as well as Microsoft Office Suite.
