Are you an experienced Manufacturing Shift Manager seeking a new challenge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment? Our client, a market leader in bespoke building products are looking for an accomplished leader to join their operations team.

Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, this pivotal position involves managing the afternoon shift, ensuring seamless operations across multiple production departments (machining, paint shop, and glazing). You’ll lead three Team Leaders, driving quality, productivity, and performance while fostering a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities of the Shift Manager include:

  • Oversee and develop Team Leaders through objectives, KPIs, and performance reviews
  • Ensure high-quality standards are consistently met, implementing a right-first-time approach
  • Drive productivity and schedule adherence to achieve 100% OTIF
  • Cultivate a culture of lean manufacturing and operational excellence
  • Maintain rigorous compliance with HSE standards, ensuring a safe working environment

We are looking for Manufacturing Shift Managers with the following experience:

  • Proactive and solutions-oriented leader with a proven track record in people management within a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Have experience in managing cross-functional teams to deliver strong results
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and a focus on continuous improvement
