Our client has a fantastic opportunity for an NPD Senior Technologist to join their growing team in Bala.

This is initially a 1-year fixed term contract but may lead to a permanent role.

The Role:
  • To oversee client accounts for NPD and EPD projects from inception to start-up
  • Direct contact with Key retailers, face to face and written communication
  • Work in a fast-paced setting with strict deadlines, making sure that all important benchmarks are met
  • In charge of finding new ingredients that are appropriate for the design, client and site needs, and expenses.
  • In charge of meeting the necessary delivery deadlines and distributing kitchen samples
  • To plan trials, collaborate closely with the process technologist and make sure that all raw materials are ordered ahead of time. Throughout the trial phase, assist the production team and the process technician
  • Organise pre-production launch meetings and oversee product launches
  • Attend onsite meetings as required

The candidate:
  • Previous experience within a similar role
  • HACCP/Food Safety Level 3 certification
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work alone or as part as a team
  • Proficient with Microsoft office
