Role:Quality Assurance Manager Food Industry

Location: On-site, Bala

Salary: £50,000

Hours: MondayFriday, 9am5pm

Role Overview:

As the gatekeeper of product quality, this role leads the Quality Assurance team and ensures the site remains factory visit-ready at all times. Youll be central to complaint investigations, audit readiness, product benchmarking, and cross-functional quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and development of QA staff

Management of audit schedules (internal and external)

Ensuring BRCGS and customer audit readiness

Investigating complaints and driving root cause actions

Supporting GMP improvements and quality standards across the site

Cross-functional communication with Production, NPD, Purchasing, Technical, Commercial, and external agencies

Participation in HACCP, TACCP, and VACCP teams

Ideal Candidate:

2+ years in a technical/QA role within the food industry

Strong communication and administrative skills

Experience with retailer Codes of Practice (Tesco, Sainsburys, Aldi, etc.)

HACCP & Food Hygiene qualified

Computer literate and confident using Microsoft Office

Motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive
