Shift Maintenance Engineer (FMCG)

Working Hours: 4 on 4 off rotation between Days (6am-6pm) and Nights (6pm – 6am)
Our reputable FMCG client is currently looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the business.
Main Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer
- To perform electrical repairs and maintenance as required throughout the site, ensuring seamless operations.
- To assist with general engineering maintenance tasks as needed, supporting our overall maintenance strategy.
- To carry out electrical installations as required, thoroughly testing and inspecting to ensure safety and quality standards.
- To collaborate with colleagues to implement and maintain company policies related to food safety, quality, and legality, as they pertain to this role.
Experience and Skills required
- Previous Maintenance Engineer experience – electrically Biased (Preferably within an FMCG environment)
- Team working
- Good spoken communication
- A responsible attitude
- Ability to plan and prioritise your own work and other people's
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Good multitasker
- Attention to detail
