Are you an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator with knowledge in operating Bystronic, Promecam or Mebusa software?

Our client, a leading design and manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled professional to join their metal work team and contribute to the production of high-quality displays and fixtures for the retail and hospitality sectors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal processes and fabrication techniques. A competitive salary will be offered based on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Program, set, and operate Bystronic, Promecam, and Mebusa brake press machines.
  • Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately.
  • Ensure quality and precision in all sheet metalwork processes.
  • Supervise and distribute work among Brake Press Operators.
  • Assist the Metalwork Supervisor in machine setup and accuracy monitoring.
  • Conduct quality checks, including measurements and labelling, before moving parts to the next department.
  • Perform daily operational checks and report findings to the Metalwork Supervisor.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines.

Skills & Experience Required

  • 2-3 years' experience in sheet metalwork, fabrication, and brake press operation.
  • Strong knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently under deadlines.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
  • Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
  • £13.50 to £15.00 p/h (DOE)
  • Permanent, Full-time
