Are you an experienced CNC Press Brake Operator with knowledge in operating Bystronic, Promecam or Mebusa software?
Our client, a leading design and manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled professional to join their metal work team and contribute to the production of high-quality displays and fixtures for the retail and hospitality sectors.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sheet metal processes and fabrication techniques. A competitive salary will be offered based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, set, and operate Bystronic, Promecam, and Mebusa brake press machines.
- Read and interpret technical engineering drawings accurately.
- Ensure quality and precision in all sheet metalwork processes.
- Supervise and distribute work among Brake Press Operators.
- Assist the Metalwork Supervisor in machine setup and accuracy monitoring.
- Conduct quality checks, including measurements and labelling, before moving parts to the next department.
- Perform daily operational checks and report findings to the Metalwork Supervisor.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
Skills & Experience Required
- 2-3 years' experience in sheet metalwork, fabrication, and brake press operation.
- Strong knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload and work efficiently under deadlines.
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30
- Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
- 13.50 to 15.00 p/h (DOE)
- Permanent, Full-time
