- Client Payroll Setting
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, addressing payroll, employment, and other inquiries, and resolving client issues promptly
- Possessing in-depth knowledge and understanding of payroll matters, including current legislation
- Regularly conducting compliance checks
- Processing starters, leavers, holiday pay, pension deductions, and statutory payments (SMP, SPP, SAP, SSP, etc.)
- Issuing P45s, P60s, and other necessary documents
- Communicating with HMRC in writing and over the phone
- Calculating tax and NIC contributions
- Managing auto-enrolment, maintaining pension scheme records, schedules, and payments
- Submitting RTI filings and CIS returns
- Setting up and closing PAYE schemes
- Keeping accurate and organized records
- Ensuring accurate time recording on timesheets
- End to end Payroll experience
- CIPP qualification desirable
- Strong experience with payroll systems (Sage / Xero is a plus).
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Good knowledge of Auto Enrolment Pensions
- Excel competency (Pivot & VLOOKUP).
