My client is looking for a highly experienced Senior Electrical Contracts Manager to join our team, focusing on high-end residential and hotel projects. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong track record of delivering successful electrical projects. Commercial experience is desirable.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage electrical contracts for high-end residential and hotel projects.
- Oversee all aspects of project delivery, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Produce weekly/fortnightly progress reports for directors, providing clear updates on project status.
Commercial Management:
- Manage project finances, including issuing purchase orders and handling variations.
- Ensure profitability and financial control across all projects.
- Experience with Design & Build (D&B) schemes is essential.
- Ensure all projects comply with health and safety regulations.
- Exceed quality standards and ensure best practices are followed on-site.
- Lead and mentor a cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues, contractors, and clients.
- While the position is based in Mid Ulster, the role may require travel and working away as needed.
Experience:
- Over 10 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on electrical projects.
- Experience in high-end residential and hotel projects is preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven track record in project financial management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
