As a Cook you will:• Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to pre-set menus, ensuring they are nutritious, appetising, and meet dietary needs.• Manage simple stock control, reporting goods to be ordered to relevant senior staff to maintain adequate supplies.• Keep the kitchen clean, including washing up crockery and utensils. Dispose of waste correctly and ensure all food is used within prescribed periods.• Be aware of residents’ dietary needs and respond to their comments and requests regarding the menu.• Assist in covering leave for other Kitchen Assistant staff.

To be a Cook you need:• Good communication skills to interact with residents.• Ability to work both in a team and independently.• Previous experience in a Healthcare catering role and Food Hygiene Level 2 & 3 certification.

Work Hours: 8:45am to 5:15pm (2 day per week, 3 days 4th week of month)
