We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing business based in Bamber Bridge, for a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional looking to take the next step in their career.



The Role

As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance function, ensuring accurate reconciliations, maintaining financial controls, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Contactless payment solution reconciliations and management
  • Overseeing the revenue system importing to SAP
  • Reconciliation and control of specific income streams
  • Fixed asset system management
  • System master data management, liaising with the parent company (system owner)
  • Bank payment review and processing
  • Preparing wages journals and uploading to SAP
  • Month-end tasks and reporting to Group
  • Supporting the year-end audit
  • Other ad hoc duties as required


The Person

We are looking for a motivated individual with:

  • Experience in a similar accounting role
  • Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar financial systems (preferred but not essential)
  • A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
  • Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
