We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established and growing business based in Bamber Bridge, for a Management Accountant to join their finance team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive finance professional looking to take the next step in their career.
The Role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in the finance function, ensuring accurate reconciliations, maintaining financial controls, and supporting month-end and year-end processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Contactless payment solution reconciliations and management
- Overseeing the revenue system importing to SAP
- Reconciliation and control of specific income streams
- Fixed asset system management
- System master data management, liaising with the parent company (system owner)
- Bank payment review and processing
- Preparing wages journals and uploading to SAP
- Month-end tasks and reporting to Group
- Supporting the year-end audit
- Other ad hoc duties as required
The Person
We are looking for a motivated individual with:
- Experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong reconciliation skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of SAP or similar financial systems (preferred but not essential)
- A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of tasks
- Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
