They are now looking to recruit a ManagementAccounts Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis, based in Banbury. The ideal candidate would have previous experience assisting with Managed Accounts and Journal entries. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company that can provide further professional growth and guidance.Key Responsibilities: 
  • Prepare and draft monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
  • Carry out variance analysis, comparing actual performance to budgets and forecasts, while identifying key trends and insights.
  • Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including tracking acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end processes, including reconciliations and journal entries.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting alongside the Management Accountant.
  • Provide cover for Purchase Ledger and Accounts Assistant roles during absences, including invoice processing and payment runs.
  • Contribute to the improvement of financial systems and processes, using tools such as Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and accounting software (SAP).
 Key Skills & Experience: 
  • Previous experience in preparing or assisting with management accounts.
  • Previous experience with fixed asset management and reconciliations.
  • Assisted with budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A team player with a proactive and collaborative approach.
  • Familiarity with month-end processes and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of SAP or similar accounting software.
 Additional Information:
  • Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm, on-site, Flexibility for school hours.
