We are looking for a Finance Assistant to provide finance support within Prodrive's Brand& business. In this position you will provide financial integrity to the month-end process, review and ensure compliance with all Prodrive finance policies and meet all financial reporting deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer the AP function, including the set-up of new supplier accounts and ensuring that all invoices are matched with POs and entered on IFS in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Reconcile supplier statements, ensuring that any discrepancies are investigated by liaising with creditors and internal staff.
  • Support the Sales Department with customer orders, ensuring all invoices and credit notes are raised in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Complete the daily bank reconciliation, allocating payments and receipts.
  • Maintain the petty cash, out of pocket and credit card expense process in line with company policy ensuring validity and authorisation.
  • Reconcile inter-company cross charging.
  • Support the administration and queries of Polish VAT
  • Provide accurate and timely financial information to support finance and management teams.
  • Assist with the audit preparation.
  • Ad hoc finance support.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role within a fast-paced environment. You will be AAT qualified (or part qualified) and be competent with using a fully integrated accounting system as well as Microsoft packages including Excel. You will be a self-starter and be motivated to work efficiently to specific deadlines and deliverables.
