Role Overview:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical production machinery valued at an average of £50,000 per project. These projects typically span 2 to 8 weeks, offering a variety of challenges and the chance to work on bespoke machinery solutions that are critical to our clients' operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design of special purpose machinery for food & packaging industries using SolidWorks
  • Create detailed 3D models, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and project managers
  • Ensure designs meet client specifications, industry standards, and are cost-effective
