- Travel across the UK and Ireland to visit clients, strengthening and nurturing both new and existing customer relationships. You will be the face of the business, ensuring a high level of service and support for clients.
- Take responsibility for producing detailed equipment proposals and competitive pricing quotes, ensuring all projects are quoted based on both cost-effectiveness and value-added solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Utilise AutoCAD to create accurate equipment layouts and designs for sales proposals, as well as conduct on-site surveys to ensure the proposed installations meet client specifications and site conditions.
- Coordinate with our factories and suppliers to ensure product availability, lead times, and adherence to quality standards, ensuring smooth and efficient project execution for your clients.
- Assist other sales managers with technical and commercial insights to help in the preparation of proposals or resolving complex customer queries. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless communication and delivery of projects.
- Act as the first point of contact for all incoming business enquiries, ensuring these are managed professionally and converted into potential sales opportunities.
- Previous experience in sales or account management, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- A background in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electromechanical engineering.
- Able to work collaboratively within a team while also being confident in handling tasks independently.
- Competency in AutoCAD is essential for producing equipment designs and layouts.
- A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is also required for producing reports, proposals, and client presentations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive, solution-focused mindset.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the UK and Ireland to visit clients and attend site meetings.
- A full clean UK driving licence.
- Please note the Head office is based in Banbury but the role will cover the entire UK & Ireland
