National Account Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced National Account Manager to drive sales growth and manage key accounts across the UK. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading OTC and consumer healthcare brands while playing a key role in the Sales Leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow national accounts, grocery multiples, wholesalers, regional & independent pharmacies.
- Drive sales performance and oversee the P&L for key partner portfolios.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key customers and buyers.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through strategic planning and market insights.
- Lead commercial negotiations, manage budgets, and ensure financial targets are met.
- Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including E-Commerce and Brand Partners.
- Track and report on performance, promotions, and key commercial metrics.
- Attend networking & trade events to enhance brand visibility.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience as a National/Key Account Manager, ideally in a blue-chip environment.
- Experience managing major grocery retailers and pharmacy accounts in the UK.
- Strong business development skills, with experience launching new brands.
- Expertise in OTC, consumer healthcare, and pharmacy sectors.
- Proven negotiation, P&L management, and strategic planning abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI.
Additional Details:
- Remote/hybrid role covering the UK, with weekly travel to Banbury (frequency negotiable).
