Are you looking for a great field-based service technician position? Do you have strong electrical engineering experience? Looking to earn more income by working overtime? Our client is a leading custom design and manufacturer in their field, selling their products to a wide range of clients across the UK & Ireland. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit 3-5 experienced Field Service Engineers to join their team. This role is responsible for the service, repair, and support of a range of industrial electrical equipment.  Main Responsibilities: 
  • Servicing, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical equipment
  • Installing and commissioning new equipment
  • Speaking directly to clients and handling complaints
  • Fault finding, diagnosing, and technical problem-solving of electromechanical equipment
  • Field-based, travelling across the UK and Ireland
 Skills & Experience: 
  • Must have experience in electrical engineering (mechanical knowledge beneficial)
  • Must have previous experience in a field-based position
  • Previous experience in an industrial or commercial workplace
  • Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently to resolve customer issues
  • A methodical approach to problem-solving and troubleshooting
  • A flexible approach to hours worked, including weekends as required
  • Willingness to travel across the UK
  • Clean full UK Driving License
 Additional Information: 
  • Please note the Head Office is based in Banbury, but the role covers the entire UK
  • Overtime is typically in the region of 20-35% of salary
  • Working hours are Monday to Friday, with frequent weekend work required, especially for installations
