A large food manufacturing business are looking for highly skilled Electrically bias Maintenance Engineer to work a rotating shift pattern. You will have experience working within a fast paced environment, ability to mentor junior Engineers and support on projects.Â
 What You Will Do:
 - Deputise for the Engineering Shift Manager when acting as Lead Engineer, leading teams within a specific area or zone.
- Carry out Engineering maintenance in line with the schedule, ensuring effective and efficient corrective action.
- Respond quickly and effectively to Mechanical, Electrical, and PLC control breakdowns across the site, identifying root causes and suggesting improvements.
- Maintain good engineering standards and hygiene practices within the department, ensuring all activities comply with company and legislative health and safety guidelines.
- Mentor Level 1 to 3 Maintenance Engineers as well as Apprentices, promoting a culture of learning and development.
- Manage contractors and ensure timely reporting of any Health and Safety and Environmental Issues.
What You Will Bring:
- An Advanced Apprenticeship in Engineering, HNC, HND, or Bachelor Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Be an electrical bias Engineer with an understanding of automation & PLC's.Â
- Previous experience working with refrigeration equipment.
- Proficiency in the maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing systems with mechanical fitting skills.
- Good leadership qualities, the ability to motivate others, and make effective, timely decisions.
