Accounts Administrator (Billing) - Up to £35k - Banbury

A well-established hospital in Banbury that provides services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region are currently looking for a Patient Billing Coordinator to join their team. Day to day you would be working alongside their friendly, highly qualified, and experienced nursing and support teams.

This role would suit someone who has experience working in the private medical sector or from an insurance background.

Responsibilities:

  • Process the daily banking's and updating reconciling documents
  • Raise charges for all patients and non-patient accounts on compucare
  • Calculate and raise quotations for self-pay patients
  • Ensuring all invoices are successful in EDI and investigating and rectifying failed invoices
  • Monthly reporting and reconciliations
  • Support the team with credit control and rebilling
  • To process, receipt and post all payments to the relevant accounts

Experience required:

  • Minimum 1 years' experience (required)
  • Intention to gain professional accounting qualification (required)
  • Financial experience in the private medical sector (desirable)
  • Financial experience with PMI/Insurance (desirable)
  • Strong IT and Excel skills (required) and Compucare (desirable)
