Quality Inspector Banbury £25 - £30 per hour (Inside IR35) Full-time | Contract | 40 hours per week About the Role We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join a fast-growing and innovative company dedicated to cutting-edge manufacturing and sustainability. This is an exciting opportunity to support Supplier Quality and Quality Engineering activities while ensuring precision in complex mechanical components and assemblies. Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications, including GD&T.
  • Perform visual and dimensional inspections on supplied, in-process, and finished components using CMM, shadowgraph, and manual equipment.
  • Accept or reject materials and components based on defined quality standards.
  • Develop and assist with Inspection Plans and Control Plans.
  • Manage reject documentation in line with company procedures.
  • Ensure measurement equipment remains accurate through calibration and maintenance.
  • Process inspections within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 MRP system.

About You

  • Strong metrology experience within a manufacturing environment (automotive or similar preferred).
  • Experience with PPAP submissions.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, CMM, and associated measurement systems (PC-DMIS experience is a plus).
  • Attention to detail with a methodical and logical approach to ensure accuracy.
