Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert planning advice to clients on a variety of projects, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.

  • Prepare and submit planning applications and appeals, ensuring they are in compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.

  • Conduct site assessments and assessments of local planning policies and prepare reports for clients.

  • Work closely with local authorities, stakeholders, and consultants to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Lead and manage client relationships, offering proactive and strategic planning guidance throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Stay up to date with national and local planning policies and legislation.

Ideal Candidate:

  • A degree in Town Planning (or related field) and full RTPI membership (or working towards).

  • Proven experience in planning, ideally within a consultancy or local authority setting.

  • Strong knowledge of the UK planning system, policies, and legislation.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong project management skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
