Warehouse Operative

Job&Talent are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Operatives in Banbury. We are looking for hard working and experienced warehouse operatives to join our team, our client is ramping up for some new business opportunities and are looking for core team members to join the operation.

As a Warehouse Operative you will need to have:

Ability to work in a rapidly changing, fast past paced environment
Ability to work both individually and as part of a team in a physically demanding environment
A 'can do', right first time and passionate approach
Flexibility to work a rotating shift pattern

Salary :

AM Shift Payment per hour = £11.44 per hour.
PM shift Payment per hour = £11.44 + £10.75 per day PM shift bonus
Night shift Payment per hour = £11.44 + £19.69 per day night shift bonus.
Overtime Rate - £17.16 per hour if over 40 hours per week has been completed
AM Shift - Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30
PM Shift - Monday - Friday 15:30 - 24:00
Night Shift - Sunday 23:59 - 07:00; Monday - Wednesday 22:00 - 07:00; Thursday 22:30 - 07:00
Our client offers training suitable for all candidates regardless of previous experience however previous inventory management/ experience with scanners is preferred.

Role of a Warehouse Operative:

Accurately receive, pick, assemble and load customer orders within depot accuracy and speed targets
Contribute towards a clean and safe working environment, demonstrating concern to ensure that personal actions do not compromise the health and safety of self and/or colleagues at all times
Handle customer stock with care and consideration to minimize damages and maximize customer service
Adhere to instructions and guidelines regarding manual handling, the use of Mechanical Handling equipment, including pre-operational checks, reporting of defects, and the safe use and operation of all equipment.

Please Note: This role requires long term commitment and is not suitable for candidates looking for short term temporary work.
