Working Arrangement: Hybrid Job Description: My clientare seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Account Handler to join theirdynamic insurance team in Aberdeen. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial clients, providing exceptional service, and ensuring that their insurance needs are met effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Policy Administration: Handle the administration of new and existing insurance policies, including renewals, endorsements, and claims.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential new clients and opportunities for business growth.
  • Risk Assessment: Evaluate client risks and recommend appropriate coverage options to mitigate those risks.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with underwriters and other team members to ensure client satisfaction and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Client Communication: Provide timely and accurate communication to clients regarding policy updates, claims, and other inquiries.
  • Sales Support: Assist in the preparation of quotes and proposals for new business and renewals.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as an Account Handler or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid working environment.
  • Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) are desirable but not mandatory.
