Credit Control Specialist

Role OverviewWe are seeking a Credit Control Specialist to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a dynamic credit control environment, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.

As a Credit Control Specialist, you will be integral to the team’s efforts in managing and collecting debts across a portfolio of major accounts, segmented by customer type and industry sector. You will be adept at handling high-risk customers, employing excellent negotiation skills to secure payments while maintaining customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities- Direct engagement with high-risk customers to negotiate payment solutions, using strong communication skills to balance firmness with customer retention.- Conduct thorough audits to identify and rectify incorrect account charges.- Collaborate with various departments to swiftly and accurately resolve customer issues, facilitating prompt payment.- Provide ledger coverage for team members during absences, ensuring continuous control and management of all active accounts.

Accountabilities- Contribute to the team’s success in achieving timely and efficient debt collection.- Ensure the recovery of overdue payments from industrial and commercial customers, maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Qualifications / Experience- Experience in a high-volume credit control environment.- Exceptional attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.- Excellent communication and relationship management abilities, both internally and externally.
