Reed HR are seeking a keen and energetic HR Officer to join our clients HR team of four in Epsom!

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a year of HR experience who is looking to further their professional development by studying for a CIPD Level 3 qualification, which will be funded by the company.

The successful candidate will report directly to the HR Manager.

Hours: 9 - 5 Monday to FridayOffice based

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Assist with various HR tasks and support the HR Manager in daily activities.
  • Help manage employee relations, including managing absence, disciplinaries, grievances, and sickness.
  • Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement.
  • Implement the HR strategy and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
  • Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organisation.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Approximately 1 year of experience in an HR role.
  • Keen to start studying for a CIPD Level 3 qualification.
  • Energetic and proactive approach to work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Good understanding of HR functions and best practices.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Superb computer literacy with capability in email, MS Office, and related HR software.
  • Remarkable organisational and conflict management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
