Higher Level Teaching Assistant - HLTA - Nursery Lead
Location: Caerphilly
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to take on an exciting opportunity as a Nursery Lead in a vibrant and welcoming setting in Caerphilly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the nursery class, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external partners to ensure the best outcomes for children.
- Assess, monitor, and record children's progress, supporting their development holistically.
- Provide leadership and support to other Teaching Assistants in the nursery setting.
Requirements:
- HLTA Qualification is essential.
- Experience as a TA or HLTA, ideally within an Early Years/Nursery setting.
- A valid Enhanced DBS Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
