This Maintenance Engineer role is for an engineering business that specialises in machinery and supports a range of industries.

 

Maintenance Engineer Role and Responsibilities

  • This role will require the Maintenance Engineer to build, test, service, repair, and install machinery.
  • Working on an electrical panel and making a wiring cabinet.
  • This role is based on the shop floor alongside other engineers with some client interaction.
  • You may from time to time be required to attend site visits to support other Engineers in installing, repairing, and servicing machines.
  • Assisting in projects.

 

Maintenance Engineer Requirements

  • The Maintenance Engineer will ideally have 17th or 18th Edition or an electrical qualification and be happy to be upskilled to obtain 18th
  • Experience working within FMCG, food distribution, or a high-volume environment.
  • Experience in PLC and automation is desirable but not essential.
  • Must have a mechanical understanding.

 

What we offer/benefits

  • £35,000 - £42,000 annual salary.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern, 37.5 hours a week.
  • Standard hours 9:00am – 5:30am.
  • Flexible start time from 7:00 am to 9:30 am.
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
  • Workplace pension scheme, which includes a 5% contribution from the employer.
  • Closed of Christmas and New Year.
  • Christmas bonus depending on business performance.
