?A successful primary school in Barking is looking to appoint an enthusiastic SEMH Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding SEND department.?
?As a SEMH Teaching Assistant you will be working either on a 1:1 basis with children who required additional support to access the curriculum or general cover in lessons. SEMH Teaching assistants look to provide support based on social and emotional mental health issues and previous experience of this is key. The role will be a mixture of mainstream lessons and designing bespoke interventions with smaller cohorts.?
?The school has recently been grading "Good" by OFSTED and their inclusion policy provided to SEND students is a clear strength. The position will allow candidates to build on this success using the existing framework and welcome different strategies to engage and promote progress.??
