SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School - Barking & Dagenham
A successful Primary school in Dagenham is looking to appoint an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join an outstanding SEND department.
As a SEND Teaching Assistant you will be working on a 1:1 basis with children who require additional support to access the curriculum. The role will be a mixture of mainstream lessons and designing bespoke interventions with smaller cohorts.
The school has recently been graded "Good" by OFSTED and their inclusion policy provided to SEND students is a clear strength. The position will allow candidates to build on this success using the existing framework and welcome different strategies to engage and promote progress.

Long Term & Full Time- entire academic year

£85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

Good understanding of SEND needs

Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEND would be ideal

Passionate about supporting children with SEND

Calm and compassionate nature

Ability to demonstrate patience and sensitivity

Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
