We are currently recruiting for a Personal Assistant to Director on behalf of our public sector organisation based in East London.

This is a temporary contract role initially for 3 months with view for further extension thereafter. The hourly rate is £20.51 per hour PAYE. The role is initially until the end of October 2024, with view for further extension thereafter.

The role offers hybrid working, with at least 3 days in the office based in Barking and two days working from home.

  • Support the Strategic Director and provide high level executive support, delivering multifaceted support, undertaking a wide range of administrative duties
  • Arrange meetings for directors that do not currently have PA support and cover annual leave/sickness within the team
  • Administer meetings across various service areas
  • Act as an effective gatekeeper, answering enquiries on behalf of the Director
  • Minute taking
  • Extensive diary management
  • Travel and meeting arrangements
  • Draft correspondence on behalf of directors

The successful applicant will have strong organisational skills, experience providing high level executive support to a director, attention to detail, strong diary management skills and the ability to take minutes at meetings.
