Prospero Teaching is seeking an ASD SEND Teacher for a SEND school in Barking, East London, featuring state-of-the-art facilities.
The position is a full-time, long-term cover role with the potential to transition to permanent employment, starting ASAP until the end of the academic year.
Candidates must have QTS, QTLS, PGCE, or equivalent, along with previous experience in a SEND UK school and ideally up-to-date safeguarding training.
The role requires a salary of £150 to £200 per day and candidates should have relevant experience in the field.
To qualify, applicants must have the right to work in the UK and hold an enhanced DBS certificate, along with two professional child-related references.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a ASD SEND Teacher to work in a SEND school in East London

Th school is based in Barking and has state of the art facilities, including a swimming pool, sensory room, breakout areas, 2 large playgrounds, school field, music and ICT room.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location - Barking
Position - SEND Teacher
Type of work - long term cover and the opportunity to go perm
Start date - ASAP
Duration- until the end of the academic year
Contract type - Temporary to perm option
Full time
Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
Previous experience working in a SEND UK school
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
