ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is looking for a ASD SEND Teacher to work in a SEND school in East London

Th school is based in Barking and has state of the art facilities, including a swimming pool, sensory room, breakout areas, 2 large playgrounds, school field, music and ICT room.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Barking
  • Position - SEND Teacher
  • Type of work - long term cover and the opportunity to go perm
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Duration- until the end of the academic year
  • Contract type - Temporary to perm option
  • Full time
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYFS or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in a SEND UK school
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
