- Process weekly and monthly payrolls for clients, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements such as RTIs, EPS, and FPS submissions.
- Assist with onboarding new clients and serve as the primary point of contact for complex payroll and pension-related queries.
- Set up and manage pension schemes, assess employee eligibility, and ensure compliance with auto-enrolment duties, adhering to the latest HMRC and Pension Regulator guidelines.
- Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns, verify subcontractor details with HMRC, and ensure timely and accurate submissions.
- Handle end-of-year CIS refund claims, including addressing any restrictions or underpayments from HMRC.
- Extensive experience managing end-to-end payroll processes
- Proficient in handling CIS returns with solid knowledge of the Construction Industry Scheme
- Bookkeeping experience using VT Transaction software is desirable
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office and databases, with the ability to meet tight deadlines independently
