HR Business Partner – 6–9 Month Fixed Term Contract – London - Hybrid working on offer – Start ASAP – Salary - £47,700 - £59,624 (Pro Rata)

Reed Talent Professionals are supporting a reputable Housing Association based in London in the search for HR Business Partner to join their friendly team and play a pivotal role in shaping, developing, and delivering HR services that reflect our core values and priorities.

The HRBP will provide support to large-scale change projects across the organisation. As well as technical expertise, a significant focus and requirement of the role is to demonstrate empathy, understanding and a ‘human’ approach, particularly when supporting colleagues through change.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and leaders, influencing management teams to adopt best practice HR in support of business plans and objectives.
  • Provide strategic and operational HR leadership to drive the delivery of the HR Strategy.
  • Facilitate key HR areas such as change management, organisational design, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Assist in building talent pipelines and driving resourcing plans within the business area(s).
  • Work with management teams to define and develop organisational talent, addressing performance proactively.
  • Offer up-to-date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates, develop policies in line with current legislation, and stay abreast of HR best practices and workplace trends.
  • Strategise case management to effectively manage risk for the group.
  • Advise on complex Employee Relations matters and interpret people data and analytics to influence decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as the HR contact point for a wide range of HR activities, including workforce planning, restructuring, resourcing, and performance management.
  • Provide comprehensive workshops covering management responsibilities in HR best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A degree or equivalent experience in HR.
  • Excellent relationship building and influencing skills.
  • Experience managing large scale change programmes such as TUPE or reorganisations.
  • Relevant and demonstrable HR experience in large complex organisations with multiple stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of current HR issues and trends, with evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Experience in a business partner model, creating positive business outcomes with local managers.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to contribute to new programmes and initiatives.
  • Commercial insight with the ability to manage and identify risks.
