Our client, a reliable and professional global freight forwarding service provider, are looking to recruit a Sea Import Coordinator to be based at their offices in Barking, Essex.

Main Purpose of the Role;

Reporting to the department manager, the Sea Import Co-ordinator will be responsible for handling sea import operations from start to finish.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Sea Import Co-ordinator:

  • Handling sea import operations
  • Arranging customer bookings
  • Processing customs clearance entries
  • Dealing with shipping lines
  • Invoicing and cost accruals.
  • Occasional involvement with road freight customs and freight operations
  • Quoting for new biz and obtaining best costs for all work carried out

To Be Considered:

  • Experience dealing with sea import operations and/or customs clearance
  • Good customer service skills as the job will require dealing directly with customers via email and phone.
  • Any previous experience with Multifreight is preferred, but not essential
