Compliance Officer - Join BD Reside in Partnership with Goodman Masson

Location: Hybrid (Barking/Home)Salary: £38,000 - £46,000 p.a.

Goodman Masson is delighted to be partnering with Barking & Dagenham Reside Regeneration Ltd (BD Reside) to recruit a Compliance Officer. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to ensure compliance with housing regulations, legal obligations, and internal policies in a fast-growing and ambitious organisation.

As a Compliance Officer, you will play a key role in monitoring compliance performance, conducting audits, and driving improvements to foster a culture of accountability and excellence. You will ensure all housing operations align with regulatory requirements while working closely with internal and external stakeholders.

? Ensure full compliance with housing regulations, including health and safety laws, safeguarding guidelines, and GDPR.? Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations, ensuring policies and procedures are proactive and up to date.? Assist in drafting, implementing, and reviewing policies to support compliance across the organisation.? Support the documentation and reporting of any breaches to senior management and regulatory bodies.? Produce detailed reports on compliance performance, including KPIs, trend analysis, and risk assessments.? Collaborate with internal teams (operations, health and safety, finance) to align compliance efforts.? Liaise with external stakeholders, such as regulators and contractors, to ensure all obligations are met.? Promote a strong culture of accountability and compliance within the organisation.

? Experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role, ideally within the housing or property management sector.? Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to analyse complex data and identify compliance risks.? Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear guidance and recommendations to stakeholders.? Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.? Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems effectively.
