Are you a compassionate and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barking is seeking an experienced LSA to join their team.
About the Role:- Supporting children with SEN on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
- Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Helping to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Working closely with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to support each child’s individual needs.
- Encouraging students' social, emotional, and academic development.
- Have previous experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary school setting.
- Be patient, understanding, and able to adapt to different learning needs.
- Have strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children and staff.
- Be proactive, flexible, and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
